There's one movie off of there that has woman who was abused by her husband for the last 5 months of their marriage try to get revenge on him. How? By MURDERING HIM. Typical programming is always going to be biased towards a certain race, gender, sexuality or whatever, depending on what kind of programme it is and what the current trends in 'thinking' are. You can't trust most of what you see on TV. Everyone knows that the people behind these shows have their own agendas (usually profit-based) so do yourself a favour and stop watching that drivel.

If the man wins in any show, a woman is very likely to write an angry letter / make an angry call / protest the show, for being sexist towards women.

Today's woman needs to shut the fuck up, because both genders are already equal. They don't want equality, they want to have the best of the world, and leave the worst parts for men.

My brother watches this stupid "Nick At Night" show called 'The Nanny'. I saw a bit, it's ok, but yeah, the women always win.

Although men are usually depicted as being less intelligent, they're also the more likable characters. The opposing woman is usually just a foil for them really. Taking the example of Family guy which has been mentions quite a few times, think of the number of Peter fans compared Lois fans. No one watches the show to see Lois or any of the other females in other programs.

Besides I'd like you to keep in mind that a lot of the creators of these shows are men, so don't get all uptight at the girls. /:

Neutrality generally doesn't lead to drama. People love having a reason to get worked up over a fictional programme. Good point. I mean, sheesh, there's tv shows about dragons and unicorns and such but that certianly doesn't mean the creator of the show believes in dragons or unicorns.

Men represent the extremes. They are the stupidest of people, but also the smartest.

Women are often portrayed in the media as 'morally upstanding citizens, condescending in nature towards male stereotypes'. Well, last time I checked, bitching behind people's backs wasn't particularly moral. Males do this as well, however, but not as frequently. They also fight, which women don't do, as they are physically outclassed under normal circumstances. However, the media are shortsighted idiots, and see this as 'women being moral' and not being 'women being too afraid to get into fights for fear of getting split ends'.

When it comes to gender, both are equally hypocritical. The trick is disguising it.
