i was scouted posting...now I aint

What happened? I have two pieces of art up and like 30 votes but now I am NOT scouted?? I thought I already was!!

If someone you scouted, or the person who scouted you (or scouted them, or up the tree) breaks the rules or becomes unscouted.. everyone down that line will be unscouted including you.

Just to say don't worry the same thing happened to me. Now if you get scouted again everything you have had before you got unscouted will be there if you get scouted again votes/score/reviews will all be there again.

It's so people don't just scout the first person they see which will end up with the whole portal being flooded with crap. The system only needs an option to have a more responsible person to scout you and reject some random guy from doing so.

OP, they just changed it so that you need 4 artworks to be scouted. Maybe anyone who was previously scouted but had less than 4 pics up = descouted automatically?

I believe thats what happened to alot of people. But i had 12 artworks on my profile before this rule went into effect so i was safe from that. All it was is that the person who scouted me got un-scouted himself.

I only have three pieces of art, my 6 scouts are still alive, as is my scouter. I think people were grandfathered in.

Kicking out everyone already scouted with less than 4 would have wreaked a small amount of havoc.

Maby not, maby if you were already scouted and your art was good enough they would let you stay. From what i've heard it's very confusing right now and things are getting changed very fast. So just keep your hopes up that you will stay. or just upload one more just to be safe.

In a way it would... but then again if you have less than four than maby they see that the majority of users with less than four art submissions whould be more likely to have submitted garbage and then would get scouted by there spammy friends who in the long run have alot of crap in the art portal. They had high intentions to make the art poral to be less of the flash portal because theres alot of crap in the flash portal so they want the art portal to be smaller in a way to make room for the real artists and leave the mediocre art out in the cold.

Yeah, but we weren't talking about your art scoutedness status, we were talking about falz3333's, who said in his OP that he had "two pieces of art up," etc. etc.

Oh, okay. That's much better than kicking out all the <4s, yes. It's not like the system's been up long enough that the amount of <4s that would be grandfathered in would be insanely high or anything, so... congrats! You're one of the lucky few to squeeze in pre-rule change.
