That really depends on how many roads there actually are.

Just because I hate the OP for no other reason than I'm angsty today, the fact is that they are BOTH liars. Homor said that one man is BELIEVED to always tell the truth, but the other is DEFINITELY a liar. The last question to ask is "Should I go down the left path?". They'll both pick the same (wrong) answer, you do as the opposite and get a cookie. I win, the end. :)

an alternate strategy would be to ask them which way is NOT to the whatever, only for them to point out the direction of the whatever.

If they're both lying, they'll both point to the road that doesn't lead to whatever. So you go on the other road. And punch them in the face for wasting so much time.

umm, you cant tell cause they both lie, technically you will never get a straight answer from them.... and this is a trick question isnt it? oh well ill solve it i guess..........

ask the one on the right if his path is the wrong one, then ask the other one if his is wrong also, you will then establish which one is the right path and which is wrong, and then be on your merry way.

Wow, I fucked that sentence up.
Okay, ask them "If I were talking to a truthful person, which path would they say is correct?".

alternative solution: tell one of them to go the correct path and return. if he returns, go that path. if he doesn't, go the other way.

OR just go the same way as normal, or check a map, or go around, or shoot them.

Obviously the guy who tells the truth just lied by saying neither of them are liars. So that means you can't trust anyone.
