3,176 Comments?!?!

OK, this is weird. I was just about to see if i had any new comments on my news posts when I saw that one of my news posts had 3,126 comments on it! I clicked on it and it was only the usual. No more had been added, yet when I continue to refresh the page....Its still like that!

What happened? Server hiccup?

Server probably messed up on you or something because I saw it as well, all I saw was about 5 comments, if there was that many then your page would be laggy as hell.

I check my comments daily, so I know how many I have. Today I checked and it said I had 207, ealirer on it said 206, so I checked for my new comment but it was not there.

At first I thought maybe 206 was the limit and maybe it had created a second page for more comments on that post, but I found nothing. I deleted a few comments assuming that the new one would show up if I made room for it, but still I found nothing new.

I gave up and checked back later on, and it was there.

Comments system is spazzy.

It must be a glitch, but it is weird that it would only affect that part of one user's userpage.

That happened to me once. One time i made a news post (which are known to be small to a few people) and 5 minutes later i checked to see if i had any comments and it said 2,000 comments. I clicked it, and it was only 2 comments. The next day, that post was deleted.
