they always try to scare the public, so that they can buy their news paper or to continue on watching their news channel . they only focus on negative events that occur arround the world like the H1N1 virus and the economic crisis.

they hardly ever talk about anything good, and if they do happen to mention something they'll give you updates about it for only three days or less. yes i know it's a business and they're just trying to sell their things but it just how they try SO HARD to scare you to buy their stuff that pisses me off

Just don't pay attention to the press. They lie in order to sell newspapers. Set an example to your friends simply by not giving the news the time of day.

By the way, "media" doesn't just mean the news. It refers to any form of distribution of information. The Internet is a form of media. Martin Luther King's speech was a form of media.

Most of the time, the media is bullshit. They hardly study the stories or targets they pick on and it usually makes them look like fools. And they do pick on the disasters, but nowadays for me it looks like half the stories aren't true anymore.
