Look at the user who posted that. Look at him, and tell me his name. Then search what little memory you must have as a Newgrounder and tell me all you know about cr0m, and how credible of a source you think he is. And if you don't remember, I do. That's cr0m, spammer, ex-script kiddie, maker of movies with decapitations and 9/11 clips, pioneer in all areas of trolling Newgrounds. He also told me last year that Goldencat never got v&, over AIM. Other spammers who know him better have corroborated the AIM story. Therefore, I feel the most logical explanation is that cr0m was simply joking about Goldencat being taken down by the feds. I could post the relevant parts of the conversation, if you want.

cr0m later went on to post a similar thread about SevenStar, on an alt that soon afterwards got deleted for submitting Abu Ghraib photos as a Flash.

Also, I used to cringe at the mention of this lame camwhore?! Back before I knew anything more than "Goldencat: Troll, script kiddie, wrote AAEN", I used to fear his name. i actually have no idea what happened to goldencat during that time, for a while he really did disappear, he is back now though :) (came back pretty recently too, like last month or somethin)

I was actually looking at Wade's post in that thread, but thanks for filling in the details all the same. It didn't look legit to me either until I went and read some of the replies.

Since there's no exhaustive record of the history of NG trolls, it's kinda hard to tell which ones were and which weren't.
