The Last Minute Ng Seattle Meet 09

It was originally just going to be Fawx, Emanhattan, and I, but frankly we should open it to more people so it would be more fun.

This isn't some huge meet up or anything major, I figure anyone from around here interested should just show up so we can have more people come.

So here's some details.
When: Saturday, June 27th 2009
Where: 1pm Pike Place Market by The Bronze Pig (No Swine Flu Included) on 1st and Pike Street.
Who: So far Fawx,Emanhattan, Mexifry, and YOU.
Why: To chill with some NGer's and give Emanhattan the Seattle experience before he leaves to Mexico.

So, anyone interested?

I'm too far to attend, but I do have a suggestion. PAX is coming up in a few months, and I believe the NG staff will be having a booth there (I think). Maybe you guys would want to plan a bigger meet up for that event later on.

The main purpose of the meet was Emanhattan is leaving back to Mexico soon, so we could show him around Seattle so I figured lets round up a few extra people if we can; but I see where you are coming at.

You know, if I had known you lived in Seattle, and you had brought this up one week prior, I might have joined you. It would be interesting to actually meet some of my fellow Newgrounders in the area, and...I'm somewhat lacking in the Seattle experience myself. (I don't cross the water very often.)

I would go, cept i didnt see this thread til just now, and I'm not sure it would be that easy for me to go and hang out with people i've never met from the internet if i cant drive or afford a bus or anything..

It was really last minute but it was fun.
Emanhattan was really cool person to meet. haha

Short-Factor was a little crazy, but in an interesting sort of way and especially on the way home when he was on topic he was a really interesting person to talk to.

So should we make every last Saturday in June the NG Seattle Meetup? I mean, some of us do need time to make prior arrangements for this kind of thing...transportation and whatnot. (And competing with Sakura-Con probably isn't the best idea...) And what do people do at these meetups, anyway?
