My aunt and couain were found dead

Hey all,

It's been a while, and have I got a story to tell you. This is the link to the news article, I'll fill in the blanks with what I know.

The morning of Monday, June 22nd; my aunt, Anne-Marie Rino, called my uncle David and told him how she wanted to be buried. He didn't think anything of it at the time. Afterwords, she got a gun, went to my little cousin, Gabriella Marin-Rino, and shot her point blank in the head; blew off her face and the top of her skull. Finally, she laid down on the couch, put on a pair of headphones, and shot herself in the chest.

Uncle Dave found the bodies around 3:30, just about when I was getting out of my High School graduation ceremony. It's been a really big shock to all of us, obviously. It's been especially surreal for me. I remember going to Gaby's baptism. She was only 8.

What really steams me is all the rumors that are flying around. People are so clueless it's sad. I've been reading the comments in various news articles online and they only infuriate me. Someone accused an imaginary ex-boyfriend of committing the crimes, someone said that it was just the "jean pool(sic)" cleaning itself out. It's enough to drive me bonkers.

Anyway, I just wanted to stop by and tell you how I've been. I'm slowly approaching my 6th year as a Newgrounds denizen (found the site in '03, signed up '04) and it's amazing how much has changed, grown, and evolved. I guess I'll see you all around.

Holy crap. I live in Connecticut and I heared a lot about that on the news. Thats really weird that you happen to be they're nephew/cousin. Sorry for your loss, but you should definatly tell the news media if your that angry at people so they can get it strait because theres no way they're gonna figure that out. I know how you fell about that stuff. My uncle was in a bad car accident that killed the other driver and almost killed him. Everyone blamed him and said he was a horrible person that should go to jail or be killed but they didn't even know the whole story.

It's important not to let other people get to you in a time like this. I can respect their natural curiosity and speculation to an extent. It annoys me when they speak with some authority on the matter, like when they accuse Anne Marie of being a bad mother. She loved Gaby, and was something of a socialite around her neighborhood. They'll never understand, but they like to think they do. I don't understand that about people. Either make a sincere effort to learn about and understand that which you don't comprehend or don't bother. That way, you won't waste anyone's time and you won't look like a moron.

Anyways, that's pretty messed up. You hear about these kinds of things, but I've never really imagine being connected to one in any form. How's your uncle doing? It's got to be the worst for him.
