Transformers! What happened!

I saw the sequel to my favorite movie of 2007 last night at midnight and it was an abomination of a movie! Everything from racial stereotypes to a completely silly plot. Not to mention the completely random and unnecessary constant flow of action including the first action sequence in my whole life I actually believed dragged on for way too long. Overall this was nothing more than an attempt to just put 2 1/2 hours of explosions for a summer sequel of epic proportions but along the way just managed to ruin everything that was awesome about the first one.

I thought the movie was ace, thats why I watched it twice in the cinema. And theres nothing wrong with actors..nor the plot or the action sequences. IMHO.

Anyway, my friends been creaming over this movie for a while now so I'm getting dragged to it tonight. Everyone I've talked to said pretty much the same thing, so I'm not really looking forward to it.

Because I never saw the fucked up toys they based the 2007 transformers "movie" on.
What a crap movie that just rapes transformers completely. Speed Racer, now that's textbook case of doing something awesome with a silly-ass franchise without chucking the cool parts away.

I knew there was gonna be next to no plot and that acting was gonna be as iffy as the first one. I honestly just wanna go for the explosions. You people should know by now that Bay films especially ones like Transformers is gonna be a huge CGI madhouse's. That's why i only go to his movies for what he excels at. Making shit blow up. Just enjoy it for what it is. To expect more is just silly.
