hey i posted a song i waited a few weeks and now they said that i am banned from the audio portal
help!
A mod will likely be along in a while to tell you exactly why, but there's a few reasons you might have been banned.
you uploaded something you didn't create. you'd be surprised how many people upload commercial songs.
you used software that assembles pre-created loops, rather than creating original work.
your song SOUNDED like you did that.
You used a noticeable sample from a commercial work.
I think the running theme here is this... no copyrighted material.
I listened now to your track and to me sounds weird.
Apparently it's soloing over some very good audio quality backing track.
Everything in the drums section sound really professional, the solo itself... well, not like the rest of the track.
Probably someone thought that it's soloing over a backing track made by someone else (you know those guitar schools that offer backing tracks) or recognized some drum loops under different licensing that CC.
Also a description like "its a cool song" isn't helping. That section should contain informations about how you made it, what programs you used, when you made it and other stuff like that.

And doing it right this time.
Audio bans are permanent, so take into account what soro said about the track and see if you can either explain yourself next time (if you did indeed create everything yourself) or use exclusively your own material
Sending a first song to the Audio Portal is like going for a Job interview. If everyone thought of it like that, i guarantee we would have less people getting banned from the Audio Portal.

Or a simple read of the rules. That might help. Although revolutionary ideas are hard to catch at first.
/sarcasm.

do YOU read the license agreements when you install software? I think not!
My wife makes me.
I think we should have pictures - pics are universal.
NO, I WILL NOT SHOW MY BOOBIES
I've always thought a nice flash expaining the rules would have to be watched the first time you press the "submit" button. And you couldn't submit until the flash was watched. However, I'm sure people would still have trouble with it.
Still, I show no boobies.

You sure you created it? you sure you didn't take a midi and change things slightly and say it was yours? Mods will ban you for something like that. I'm sure they have a reason. Either way. Good luck.
