yes left 4 dead 2 is coming and it is now practicly the same but with different setting, characters, weapons and a really bad animation for the tank:ALSO the author of left 4 dead 2 had an arguement about protestors saying left 4 dead 2 should just be an add - on and doesnt cost less than a cheeseburger.so basicly get ready for a new zombie ass kicking game! post your reply about what you think about the new update and what you think if the game should be an add-on or not....

Well, L4D could have used a longer campaign.
Turtle Rock studios originally made the game but valve bought it half way in production.

It's got a couple of nice bits to it but it's basically an add-on. imo valve are fucking this one up as it's not only overpriced but also gonna split the L4D player base in half. It'll sell like crazy but that don't mean its a good game

No, it's Turtle Rock that Valve bought. Wich is now Valve South.

Now that we can download stuff to the Xbox 360, people are whining about sequels, saying it should be downloadable. Think about this, the 4 new characters might be able to be downloaded in a pack, but it would be hard due to the conflicting animation that can serparate the first 4 survivors from the new ones. Also, audio would be a problem too. You upload the characters and you get their audio, about 300+ different sounds and sayings for each survivor. Pretty hard to download that and make it work. Plus, Valve has promised new infected and weapons, how would that fit into the regular maps like No Mercy? The Charger could be completly useless! The Witch, due to its new wandering animation, could walk off the hospital roof, presenting less of a challenge! Anyway, Valve cant upload everything into a DLC pack, so just deal with it.

Although, keep in mind they only bought the intellectual property, the gameplay was based around a CS mod the developers used to play in the office during breaks.
