Talkin' 'bout your generation

I dont know if you guys in England and America have this tv show but here in Australia we have this game show named as the title of the thread "Talkin' 'bout your generation" which pits a group of 2 people from each generation (Baby boomers, Gen X and Gen Y) against eachother, scoring their knowledge via a random barrage of questions that refer to various things over the said generations, so topics from the 50's til now.

Ok so the thing that shits me up the wall is that all the contestants that are put into the Generation Y team each week are complete freaking idiots!

I'm talking these god damn Myspace and youtube rise to fame type people, who twitter more than they masturbate and do not know any fucking answers to what they're asked, while i sit at home, feeling morbidly embarrassed for being apart of this seemingly failure of a generation knowing that i, as well as many others of my generation are far more intelligent than anyone they put on that show.

So what i'm saying is, do you feel embarrassed for your generation, in particular Generation Y?
Because i look at Twitter and myspace, and the people we look up to as role models in this day and age, not mention the quality of music and film and i just want to end myself out of shame.

Do you feel the same? and if so, tell me what irks you about your generation.

Well Big brother hasn't been on for a long while now, and GNW is on 10 so your statements are conflicting, BUT! i agree that if you have friends who like this show, you shouldn't be friends with them.

Nothing is better than GNW but 10 has to promote its own stuff, even Shaun Mccalif is wasting away on this show.

Also, Sean Mcauleff or however he spells his name was never funny so I have no problem with him wasting away any credibility on channel 10.

Sean Micallef is the only thing that makes that show worth watching. Much like the majority of Channel Ten's programming, they have one drawcard and the rest of it is utter tripe.
