Love vs. Sex: Choose your stance.

In my eyes, sex is okay as long as two people are in love. Does this mean that they should be in a relationship? Ideally yes, but if they are already in love, aren't they already emotionally exclusive to each other? A relationship would naturally follow suit if two people in love but not mutually exclusive decided to have sex.

From personal experience, I can say that having sex while being in love is a much more satisfying and rewarding experience than just casual sex. After feeling and experiencing the difference, I have permanently upped my standards to being in love before having sex.

Now, I'm curious. How does everybody else see sex?

I find 'casual sex' pretty shabby and I don't see why two without a love relationship should have sex when it's solely for the sake of 'entertainment'. This. Especially since all these years of my repressed sexuality has given me a fragile state of mind, I would only have sex with someone if I truly trusted them, and I find people hard to trust. I want to be in love when it happens. Otherwise, I have no idea how that would effect me...

I agree with just about everyone's statements, but the problem is when someone uses someone else for sex while saying they love them.

They guy I have sex with at the moment is a friend, and will never be any more than that. I love him, and we date so to speak, but theres no exclusivity. But what of polyamory? Or orgies? I think that as long as any two people, or group of people, are all in love with each other, the sex will be doubly good, at least. I don't believe it has to be restricted to couples, though.
