Or a breadcrumb trail with torches, that's what I always do.

Notch should let us use bread to make breadcrumbs for breadcrumb trails in the next update.

doing it with torches makes more sense and is more practical.

Seriously though, maps are way more practical than torch trails, except over very very long distances.

my god, the hours I have spent playing this game.... I was haunting the MC forums for a while, but I decided to try newgrounds's, the mods on the MC forums went on a power trip and made the place suck, the game is fun, but the forum mods need to lighten up.

Anyway, don't get sucked in, you will be awake until *oh look 5:22 AM* alternating between playing, and forum going.

I actually used sand and torches as "breadcrumbs" in the beginning D:

Yeah but the problem is, you need like a gazillion maps in order to map out your world.
And it's hard to make them match up, because sometimes they overlap.

ALL IM SAYING IS.
When I'm like somewhere without compass, I'm all like "HOLY FUCK, WHERE THE FUCK AM I"

Anyway, when I used cartograph to map out my world I was like "WOAH...NO WONDER I GET LOST...THIS PLACE IS MASSIVE"

Sometimes I want to start a new world to see different things, but then Im all like "aww but what about all the cool castles I've build"

Video interview between two awesome people- Todd Howard (Bethesda's game director) and Markus Persson (Notch). Its very interesting to watch these two guys talk. They even talk about building the land of Skyrim, in Minecraft! That would be very cool.

Also I love Notch with his hat and how he always says 'pretty weird'.

I've only seen the Yogscast video on it and a few Reddit posts and I still don't give a toss about it. Seems like a pointless mod in my eyes.

I saw these before, I thought that they looked really cool. They make me think of little goblins that come and nick stuff in the night. Love them.

The new mob looks like a Slenderman. The fact that it's black will cause a lot of shit-brick moments in the dark.

Hey guys, do you like...Need a lot of powered rails for a massive railway track?
Do I need anything else?

I used like 4-6 stacks of dirt in distance, if that gives you people an idea...

Just inquiring, because I had like 40 and I used them all up, and I'm almost there and I'm wondering if I need more/less.

picture related.

I... tried to upload my map using Mediafire. The center has this enormous mountain... area with a large area in it, like a crater. To the south is paradise, and to the north are a few islands.
