Stop building on the spawn with unbreakable stone, I don't want to have to crawl out a tunnel when I start.

And mods (or whatever) in it need to stop building all of there things in unbreakable stone if it isn't something like one of the arena's or something like that for us all. It isn't fair that my houses and such can be destroyed but yours can't. Use normal blocks like everyone else.

Premium is a "pre-order". Pre-ordering the game means that when the new game modes are released you'll be able to play them. The game is currently in pre-release alpha so anyone can play for free, but if you pay you can have a custom skin. When the game moves into beta paid users will be able to play a new game mode called "survival". There are many more gamemodes planned besides sandbox.
When the final game is released you'll still be able to play the game a bit, there'll be a free demo but the final game will be for paid players only.

In survival you'll have to survive for as long as possible against enemies, you'll have things like axes and you'll earn gold and stuff so you can build. There is also a mode called zombie siege, during the day you'll build a fort or whatever, then during the night you'll be invaded by zombies and you have to protect yourself.

Paying also supports Notch, the only developer :D

You can play the current game and will be able to play it for free for at least another month, maybe even more. Paying now is just pre-ordering the fullgame at a cheaper price, if you order now it's $15 and if you wait until the final release it'll be $30.

I assume you'll be able to play on your laptop, give it a go :D

Well, we'll be able to have private servers and such so there won't be anyone deleting stuff cause they can just be banned :D Also, if you want to see what the guy who made minecraft has to say about the final game: he posted here.

Probably people just trying to get a laugh out of you (and others) to see how pissed you'll be when your stuff is destroyed.

For someone like me, when I'm building something, and there is someone elses building in the way, I only tend to destroy a small amount of it as possible, and even so, if my buildings are broken, I really don't care if you lot destroy them as I always end up making something else each time I'm on.

If you build for e-penis++ take a screenshot. If someone takes down my building it isn't much of a problem, I build for enjoyment not for the outcome.

Eh, try using another browser or reinstall java?

Pixel format is because your video card doesn't support pixel acceleration, this only affects the shittiest of cards. Do you have your video card driver sup to date + the latest version of Java? If you do, then you won't be able to play from your current pc :(

What's your video card? (onboard, I'm guessing)
