Is it bad that I have no idea what you're talking about?
Clarify please.
Hikkis as in loners? or am i thinking of something else
You mean like recluses?
You don't need to use Japanese terms for something we have a word for in English.

It looks like the psyche of hikkis is not that much of a psyche because I don't know what they are either.
Why does my mind feel so happy?
cool story bro
don't know wtf you're talking about.
Hikkis. People who can't leave their room due to social anxiety or simply hate towards the outside world. I read a really interesting thread about it over at 4-ch.net, and it just sounds too... insane. It's common in Japan, as the culture makes it easier for youth to stay in their room, aided by their parents. The thread I mentioned was for people with aspergers, hikki and autism. Comparisons and... I guess lifestories. I can link to it if anyone's interested. I can guarantee that there is no shock images and stuff.

I think many NGers (if not all) are either Hikkies or Hikki-oriented.
Why does my mind feel so happy?
I would have to say i have a very minor case of Hikkisitis. I have a general hate towards all of the underachievers in my town and generally stay in my room a lot of the day.

Aaah, I see.
It sounds... Drawl. I love to stay in and read as much of the next guy, but how can you enjoy life without being social in society?
Yeah, Hikikomori is the correct term. Some say there are several degress of hikki, while some say you aren't a hikki unless you spend all of your time inside, which is practically impossible. I just can't help but wonder what goes on inside their heads.
One of the posters mentioned a traumatic childhood. Including child abuse, and being tortured in school. Considered himself a hardcore Hikki, only left his room to go to the toilet and went out one night a week to buy food. Even found himself pissing out the window on occasions, to avoid having to leave the room.
Wonder where they get the money from.
I'm back, I guess.
