i really like the series, except metal gear solid 1, but it has really good graphics, and it's like the best game evar! because it was made by hideo kojima, and that guy turn an idea into a million dollar payoff. seriously!

Metal Gear Solid 1 was one of the greatest PS1 games ever. How can you not love it?

Indeed MGS is an amazing series, it just goes so deep. I mean if you look beneath the surface, you'd find a very deep philosophical truth, really gets you thinking about life. Especially MGS3. I mean, who didn't shed a tear at the end of that game?

Also, they're making two new MGS games. One with Raiden on Xbox 360 and PS3. Instead of tactical espionage action it's lightning bolt action.

There's also MGS Peace Walker for PSP. Now this one I truly can't wait for.

i love this franchise but the only thing i hate is the cut scenes well i dont hate them its the fact how they are talking come on the patriots have some little bugs in you blah blah i have a nuke ready to go up your ass i mean just say the world will end not the 30 min cut scenes

I remember playing MGS1 in 1998 I was like 9 years old.But it got me hooked to the series.It's my most memorable game.The themes, the gameplay, the characters, it teaches you alot about life, and how we as Humans function.And it uses war to make us understand it all.I am looking forward for Peace Walker so I can learn Big Bosses motives.

what the first one is the best, i remember having the demo and playing it to when the dude gets a heart attack and said to be continued . :(
