By the way, for those of you that haven't had the chance to come to the Wizard World Convention yet and you have been itching to come, TOMORROW (Sunday June 21, 2009) IS THE LAST DAY. So try to make it tomorrow if possible. As always, volunteers in orange shirts like me will be more than glad to help provide directions, so don't be afraid to ask :D

Owning a computer does not mean it is capable of running games or that you use it for games even if it is able to run them. Some people actually refuse to game on a PC and some prefer to game only on a PC. So the choice being on the survey makes sense.

I did my part and filled it out.

One thing I forgot to mention in my post a few pages back is that I LOVE that Tom included Steam as an online video gaming platform for PC. When I got to that question and saw the XBL and the PSN and the WiiWare... and then scrolled a little further and saw Steam, I was so happy I got to check it and that he'd included it.

Exactly. While I didn't think of the first one (the "not using your own computer" reason to not check that "I use a PC for gaming" box), the two that Corpsecrank mentions are exactly what I was gonna say to that punk. Some people just use PCs for word processing and the web and that's pretty much it. Amazing... but true. And yes, some people have crappy old PCs and can't game on them even if they want to. Both those groups would likely leave that box unchecked.

I'd love to see the actual stats once there's been a few weeks to accumulate results. Wanna see how the 3 current gen consoles (+ PCs!) stack up as far as NG users go. WHERE DO WE FIT IN ZE CONSOLE WARS, CAPTAIN?
