easily loop a scrolling move clip

Ok so this is probably simple and im just being ignorant but i need to know if there is an easier method to make a movie clip that is scrolling downward return to the first frame and make it look like its continuing without going through the process of copy n pasting the first part and painstakingly aligning it so it loops and doesn't give a the effect that the movie clip just restarted.

If this is for a movie, then you have to copy/paste/align it every time. Just make sure it looks good lined up perfectly. Use the properties panel to move it more exactly. (using x and y).

If its for a game, then this tutorial explains how make an infinitely looping scrolling background really easily.
