Sorry for the noob question but how do you do this? I have 3gb of ram but my program keeps crashing and telling me to allocate more memory to it in the system properties dialogue box. That's what I'm in now but I don't see anything that could help. Any computer wizards online tonight?

You can't allocate memory in a Windows operating system it does that automatically.
You can change the size of your swap file, which should be about the size of your memory (3 gigs).

Geez... It seems that your PC is full of spyware & adware...
You should check it out...I bet that's why it keeps crashing./..

GO online and see whats a suitable size to change your swap file to. You can find in the System properties. Don't set it too small or your computer will be more fucked than it already is.
