It seems like every review in the Art Portal automatically becomes ""People aren't in agreement over whether this is helpful or not."

Also, could you please add back the box that said "Other work by this author"? It was a quick navigation tool that I liked.

well, now that you stated what it should look like thanks for keeping those out of talent but willing to share out of the circle.

still... isn't it supposed to be art? even if it looks like a 5 yr old drew it? In any case... it look like a great implementation to a site i already love.

Just a small suggestion about the header, I think its confusing that Games, Movies, Collections and Series are part of the Flash section of the site but separate on the menu?

Maybe it could be arranged liked in the picture below. I know the icons look kinda crap, they're just placeholders, I'd imagine they' be more like indentations.

Feel free to bash this idea. Just a thought.

Is there going to be the same principles that apply to art as they do with flash? such as if after a certain amount of votes an entry that doesn't have a high enough score gets deleted?

asking because i am already seeing the art portal getting loaded with crap, and the same users are submitting their mspaint creations one after another.

Newgrounds is the BEST!

Hmm I guess I have something to contribute to now. I have made a couple of flashes but I don't think they are worth Newgrounds time. So im going to give this a go.

I just have ONE problem with the art portal, it's that the art you make isn't under your "Latest flash submissions" and the art tab it IS under kind of hidden.

The art portal is here and bricks have been shat.

Newgrounds is starting to remind me of DeviantArt.

It's great and all, but what about artists that aren't even known by, well, anybody, like me? It'll be ages before someone scouts their artwork. Although, I DO understand that it's to prevent bad, spam artwork from entering the portal.

I see one major flaw in this portal. It is being spammed by crap. By users that are KNOWN to spam the Flash Portal often. Other then that, its nice and all. Some of the art is really nice and I can't wait to generate something for the portal.

why not just use deviant art. that is pretty much exactly the same as this. and i saw some guy say about not being able to post photos on the art portal, well you can do that on deviant art. still, a good idea.

i think a blam system and a high-ranking 'front' page for the art portal are needed, but who knows. it isn't as crucial as flash portal so i'm sure it can be tinkered around with much easier.

Quick question..

If someone I scouted were to scout someone who eventually posts spam after being scouted, would that be my head on the table or what?

you must be kidding me... i alrady got unscourted in less of 15 mins.. wth?... and they dosnt even tell me why, it just says that i´m, i dont know if i scourted someone that i wasnt supused to or something, but that surely sucks..
