Can there be a Hall of Fame for the art portal? The artwork with more than 50 or 100 views and a score of 4.50 or perhaps 4.60 and above are displayed. Can there also be a featured artwork page on the front page of NG?

I get a similar thing, and i have done since yesterday. It's reeeeeeally starting to bug me.

I'm also getting this. I can't view anything to do with the Art system, including the Portal itself and users galleries.

I would also say that being able to see your art reviews on your userpage would be good.

I think the whole portal just crashed. Shame. I loved the art portal.
But yea, in comparison the art portal lacks what the audio and flash poral have.
I also dont like the new bar :P

Well! This means I can finally submit to NG. I was never much of a Flash animator, but I'm no slouch in the artsy-fartsy department either. Guess I'll give it a go!

Nice! I checked the Art Portal for the first time and found some cool Pokemon fusions there.
But are drawings by hand allowed? If yes, that would be awesome. I made some decent doodles, now to just scan them...

Looks like they changed the "scout" admission system today; now someone has to have four pieces in their gallery before they can be "scouted"; until they reach four they can only be "recommended"--I can't tell what "recommending" someone actually does. Really what this seems to mean is that if you want a chance at getting in, take the time to put up four items (and hopefully they're good ones). It's a little frustrating because I was watching someone who had some great work, but they only put three things in, so all I could do was "recommend" them. :|

Hm come to think of it, it's a big waste of time for Art Portal people for art from people with under four pieces in their gallery to show up in the "unscouted" list--since it can't actually be scouted!

Better start uploading!

Ah I see, there's a "Top recommended" list in the Art Portal now.

recommending someone means they get put on the "unscouted recommended" list

which is generally a list of 100 top users.

the min. 4 submissions is interesting - it will mean that a lot less people will be scouted though..

Yeah, they go in the list, but there are a lot of unscoutable people in the list, which makes it a little less useful than I'd like it to be--but I gather that's sort of intentional, to keep us from spending all our time scouting.

Hey...I hear that. Try having stuff scouted, brought into the portal, voted on...than chucked from the portal with high scores!

ok a few things wrong with the art portal... i keep having to get scouted cause the person who scouted me gets unscouted some how... why do i have to pay for him getting unscouted... its kinda pissing me off...
