Can we add spore photos like this one

I cant make add my png images.
How do i make it a jpg or what ever is a compatable image for newgrounds.

Open it with paint, and click Save-as > *.jpg

Well I guess that helps a little, but I think the flash portal needs more "scouting" than the Art one does, way too much spam in there.

p.s. at first i thought your signature was the reply to my post haha, hate to say it but i've received similar on youtube as well.

So I'm just going to take this opportunity to beg someone to scout me I guess. I've got one image uploaded so far that I think illustrates I'm pretty sweet with the drawing skills.

Can someone please scout my artwork, it is so hard to get noticed in the art portal because of the scouting.

Im not spamming, I dont care if this comment gets removed or anything, i just want to get noticed.

I've been waiting for Newgrounds to do create like this.

Looks like the Art Portal already has many MANY images that:

"clutter it with lackluster art?" as well as "drag the portal down" as Rob put it.

That didn't take long at all.

Is pencil art allowed?

I noticed some odd behavior with the Art Portal when I reached my 20-piece limit. I was still able to submit more art, only I'd get a nasty face "ERROR - May have been deleted" message after submitting them--but then they still showed up on the portal and in my gallery page; I had 22 showing after going through two of those ERROR messages.

Seemed to take a while for them to delete, too, although I guess at least part of that was because it wasn't set to check my browser's cache for a refresh; I opened a different browser and they weren't there. Still, it would be better if the port's HTML was set to force the browser to verify the cache. As it was, I was getting "May have already been deleted" error messages when trying to delete them, and they wouldn't get off my browser, even after pressing F5 multiple times on the pages.

Hm while I'm at it, I'll mention that I wish there were multiple zoom levels available for viewing art. A lot of them are too big to fit on my screen, and it's no fun to have to pan around in order to try to view a piece.

None of these things, however, can stop me from <3ing the Art Portal. =)

I know he's not original newgrounds, but it would be badass if Salad Fingers ran the lit portal.

Sorry for the double post, but I think I found a glitch.
It may just be me, but when I sort my own art in my profile by date, it only shows the one with the highest score, but none of the others.
I love the art portal though, it makes me happy.

No kidding...hopefully once people see the art portal is being moderated just like the others, they'll cut the crap out. last thing we need is a portal full of spam instead of quality user postings.

i like the work i've seen so far although its a very mixed bag atm! im curious if anyone thinks im good for a bitta scouting? feels like it could take ages simply waiting by the wayside...

Is anyone else disappointed by the scouting system? I don't want to take responsibility if the person I scout is too lenient and scouts someone who doesn't deserve it or if they scout stolen art. And now, I've lost my scouting privileges because the person who originally scouted me has been banned.

I think it could work, but it currently has a few flaws. They could be teething problems.

It's been three days since I submitted my art, and no scouting yet. So I'd just like to know if I'm not good enough or anything like that, because I'm getting a bit impatient, and I don't like waiting in the dark. Here's my art btw.

I admit, you've got skill to make stuff like that in MS paint. But let's face it, MS paint sucks. I suggest drawing on paper or on another program like Flash, Fireworks, or Photoshop.

I think sketches would be allowed. As for the category, it depends on the content of the sketch.
