There is absolutely no need to blam art, considering we have scouts, they choose what goes into the portal which saves everyone else the displeasure of looking at shitty submissions.

I know it says no photographs but are photo manipulations allowed? Like taking different images, blending them together and adding other elements to it to create a new scene? Just wondering

Well, really cool. I'm seriously excited. Moving, animated art: Not my biggest strength. But just normal art, photoshopping, pixel art and fine art are all things I can do. I have been wanting to do 3-D art lately but cant find a program that will make it easy, with out paying thousands of dollars. When it sez 3-D art, that is wat it means, rite?

Anyway, I've noticed one problem. EVERYONES PUTTING STUFF IN AT ONCE. It going to take awhile for everyone to be scouted unless NG gets some new admins for the portal. If Tom needs any, I would definitely be interested. I love drawing and sketching. I make comics, abstract, anything really. I must have atleast 3 sketchbooks filled to the brim, and my future career will either have to do with Producing or have something to do with art and unmoving graphics. So, I would be more than happy to spend some time each day making sure the Portal is clean and violationless (if that's a word).

Finally, now that we have a new portal, everyone know's what that means, rite? A new NG ROBOT!!! I hope NG lets the fans post their own ideas for it. Even if the idea's are a bit edited. After the Power of 3 thing, I think that the guys who are in the logo should show up in their own respective places around the site.

Photography should be allowed. :/

I'd say it's about time for an art portal since Newgrounds is known to host people's works, this addition is like a new arm for NG.

On a side note, I remembered a while back, someone was complaining about the mature button on NG, and so on, it's placement, it's just put alphabetically...and so on. And someone pointed out that the "Flash Portal", "Audio Portal" and "Games" button weren't in alphabetcal order and spelt FAG. Now it doesn't...good times.

It really hasn't changed much, it spells "FAAG" now, that sounds even more like an annoying flamer than it did before...

Wait... what will be the abbreviation for the Art Portal, since AP is already taken.

The top recommended unscouted user list is absolutely horrible. If you are on the list you get scouted no matter the quality, this creates a whopping amount of unwanted art in the portal.

YEAH BABY! Taking on DevianTART sounds pretty cool, wait a minute... deviantart already has some messed up stuff and newgrounds is nicer then them in terms of the rules. Ho boy... methinks both eye burn and awesomeness is ahead of us, but progress is still progress x.x

Why doesn't it show the art reviews on our user page? :( like flash/music reviews are there but no art...

I've known the feeling.. but I think that system would be messy. Hell, look at the Flash portal and see what gets through.

What kinda sucks is when you dim the lights or click on the picture, you can't un-do that, you have to refresh the page.

nah, you just gotta click on the image itself and it goes back to normal

but seriously, this scouting thing is dumb. I want people to be able to vote and comment on my pics, but how are they supposed to see my stuff, if its not even on the main profile page, you actually gotta look for it.

It is really really great! I have been looking and some of the talent on their is amazing! Ok i dont know if my sumbission is the same as theres, dont know if its even got on! But looking on there wow!
