If you get ODST and won't be able to get MW2 when it comes out then definitely don't get ODST now. Save your money and buy MW2 because MW2 is a must-buy.

Well he assured me that I will get Modern Warfare 2 no matter what, but I still don't want to waste his hard earned money on a video game I might easily get bored of.

He agreed to buy it, but I'm not sure if it's a good deal.

I played Firefight with a friend. Hilariously fun, what a blast. The only downside is that there is no matchmaking :(

I thought it was well worth it, the campaign is a little short, but every minute of it was awesome, the city is massive and interesting.

Firefight is something I think I will be sucked into playing everyday for the next few months aswell

also, did anyone notice that on the halo 3 match making disk, that the spartan's visors are a dark orange now?

Wasn't that cutscene in Romeo's story where they fight the Chieftain just Epic!? =D

But to everyone still unsure if the games worth getting, definatly do, you get so much for your money, a brand new Halo campain story in an open world New Mombassa (much more futuristic than in Halo 2), a new firefight mode, all the halo 3 multiplayer maps plus new ones that you can't buy just yet (and if you've already got the maps at least you can now erase them from your HDD and save some free space) and in 2010 you get the halo reach beta so its like 4 games in 1.
And ODST's campain isn't really that short, its only really slightly shorter than halo 3's campain so your still getting a lot of bang for your buck!

I heard that Halo ODST comes with a second disk containing all the Halo 3 multiplayer maps + 3 new ones. Is this true or have I been misinformed?

I recently wanted to start playing Halo 3 again and was shocked to find out that Bungie wouldn't let me play certain game modes (mainly Big Team Battle) unless I bought their map packs. I was considering buying ODST anyway, but if this second disk I hear of is true, Bungie might just have won my money.

It's true indeed. The second disc contains every map for Halo 3.

Game sent me a £5 off voucher, so I planned to use that on ODST but it costs £34.99 and I have to spend £35 or more. 1p off FFS!

Game must like me. I just came first place in one of their competitions and won a weekend to Alton Towers. Of all the competitions I enter to win massive TVs and new consoles I go and win a weekend at a theme park.

Got ODST, completed the campaign in 4 hours. Firefight is kinda boring already...

ODST is fun. The only thing I dont like is the maps for Firefight.

You're putting me off the idea of getting it now. The fact that my £5 off voucher won't work contributes to that decision as well.

It's a good game, and is really fun for a while, but honestly, wait until it's £20 at the most because this game is no way in hell at all worth £40.
