Will probably get this as it is a new perspective on the game and shows how and why the covenant attacked Earth. Reach looks interesting as well. Won't be getting the limited edition, mind you. As much as I liked playing Halo back in the day, it's still pretty fun.

I have class until 11:15 tomorrow. I should be home around 12:15 and hopefully the package is at my door. If not Scetch00 can have my account to post gay horse pornography.

its nice that there including the whole Halo 3 Multiplayer with the game. A nice addition with all the DLC's and whatnot =P Other then that I've heard mixed reviews of the game itself.

The fact that this game is outselling a free game on Amazon is insane...

If you don't know yet (didn't bother reading all the posts) the firefight won't have matchmaking, so you have to do system link if you wanna play with other ppl for it, theres a petition online u can sign to get a free DLC by January 1st to February 30th.

You don't have to system link,who the hell told you that?But I still think It's stupid Bungie Didn't include matchmaking in firefight.

Or you can just use Xbox Live with a bunch of friends.

Plus if you're on Newgrounds then you can just refer to the ODST group somewhere here.

I've got it, played a little bit of firefight (can't play campaign until a friend of mine gets his copy so we can go through together).

I'm just going to say from the get-go it feels very different, I love the new pistol by the way.

Oh god, my father says ODST is not a major game and refuses to buy it for me at the moment.

I got my copy at around 11:50 pm and I've been up playing it since. It's fucking great!

Bought it last night, at midnight.
Loving the new SMG. Recoil is a bitch, though. The pistol is pretty awesome for headshots, but I'd like to see the Battle Rifle resurface. The campaign mode is short, but sweet, and I can imagine it'd be an absolute fuckstorm on Solo Legendary. Co-Op Legendary is pretty cruisy.
Firefight is definitely the biggest selling point for me. The difference between having two and four people is monumental, too.

Me and my brother are playing it at the moment...it's actually pretty good.
I'd recommend it to any Halo Fan...

I don't get it, how do you get Sg. Johnson anyway? I pre-ordered the game for that very reason but Im not seeing any scratch-off code or anything? Am I missing something here?
My friend just told me when I asked him that "Only a selected few get sg. Johnson" if thats true then thats fucking bullshit advertising! I know Bungie dont want half the online population running around with Johnson clones but if your told 'pre-order the game and you get sg. johnson' then you should get it!

But non the less Im really enjoying the game so far, I love how the controls and targeting are more accurate and fluid now, and I love the whole open world New Mombassa idea (Though I now have my doubts we're gonna see any other location other than this city, and Im starting to doubt we're gonna see the flood in this game which would be a real drag because its just not Halo without them!)
But I was warned the game was short so I can't complain.

P.S. Does anyone know how to get the good Samaritan achivement? Im assuming you have to make friends with the Engineers, im standing in a field with two engineers right now (I've been here for 20 minutes) ...where that phone booth is with the audio of the woman being raped.
I just don't get what I'm meant to do, what do i gain their trust, do I have to jump up and touch them or something? Anyone help? =)

Its ok I found out now that you get Sg. Johnson through email, and to unlock good samaritan you have to get throuhg the entire game without killing an engineer

I preorderd my copy from G.S. for the promotion. I'm at school right now but the status says it is delivered and I checked my e-mails and no code. It better be in that package.

This is a bit weird. The game made me play Buck's mission twice? I don't know why. It lead me there two totally different ways.

If you get ODST and won't be able to get MW2 when it comes out then definitely don't get ODST now. Save your money and buy MW2 because MW2 is a must-buy.
