Hey, I just wanted to give praise to one of your guys, Coop83.

He left a well structured, detailed review on a flash by a friend of mine and I. I make it a point to respond to each and every review I receive, and if all of you are doing as good a job as he is, or better, than I have high respect for the team.

As a flash artist, I can dig praise where it's warranted, but I almost never agree with 10's unless I sweat and bled for the thing, y'know what I mean? I guess what I'm saying is, even if you really, REALLY like what you see, try to be as nit-picky and critical as a member of an audience as you can...the constructive criticism we receive on these reviews are vital for us to become better.

Keep up the good work!

Hi peeps. I've finally found the time to get the update done, I pulled the stats at 13:00 french time today and built the update tonight, I hope this little delay didn't affect the stats. There were 6 reviewers this week and they all hit the 100% ratio, that's pretty kick ass, congrats guys.

About the audio requests issue, I talked with Coop recently and he came up with an interesting idea; we could allow user to request reviews on 2 audio, 2 art and 2 flash - and then, not on 6 audio. That way audio people won't complain saying they can't request as much as art and flash people... And as Coop pointed out, there are very few user that would submit audio, art and flash regularly. I really can see this working.

For your information, the "total reviews ever made" statistic that appears in the past updates were incorrect due to a spreadsheet mistake, I'll have to count all the reviews written from the first update... I'll do it when I get the chance :P.

That sounds like a pretty good idea, but I really doubt it'll make much difference. This week, nobody requested more than 2 audio, but we still ended up with plenty of audio requests..I dunno..

As I said to Nicolas (Sonofkirk for all you other folk) yesterday, I will stop completing all requests once I get to 100 Flash and 100 Audio Reviews. I might do the occasional Flash or Art review though...

I have a question for you guys.....If I were to join....Would I only be able to review Flash submissions? I don't really like reviewing Audio and I suppose I could do art....

Would that be possible?

Yeah, you can join. Warning is you won't get many flash reviews, but a good things is you can find some yourself and post them here so we have some stuff to review. I'd recommend taking a shot at some audio and art though you never know you might start to like it a little.

I will probably recommend some flashes, I may even recommend some Art once in a while! I doubt I will review Audio as I just don't know what to say. I've already reviewed one of the flashes suggested and the rest I shall do tomorrow. Thanks again for accepting me though :)

An interesting number of requests this week - please feel free to submit your own spotlight requests for either Art or Flash - Audio is healthy enough at present. This is because I have time, while you have to go to school. We don't start until 27th :P. I just need to pray for a busy week before that date XD.

Cutting it all down to a limit of 2 requests, eh? Well, this might work. It will be hard to spread the word to the requesters, though.

Oh well, we'll see if it works. This new rule will be included in the next version of the club rules and we'll see how it works. If things don't improve, I'll give then and we'll have to accept it. After all audio requests are maybe just supposed to be numerous :P.

No problem :). Yeah Insanimation did it for since I was too busy and I forgot to inform him about those two recommendations, I'll add 'em on the next list. If you don't mind I'll probably ask you to do those requests lists every now and again if I don't have to time to... And I'll put you ahead of Haggard as soon as I get the chance :P.

Insanimation is going to slow down with reviewing, what's more Soap and Steph are 400 points away from you, I doubt anyone can catch up with you that soon... :P.

Perfect, we need more people here. I remember that there were only 2 or 3 members on that section, that was really painful to see :P. I'll try to get there eventually, if the number of requests allows me to.

As the current rules, this one has positive points but drawbacks as well. But this won't be launched that soon so we have to time to think about it and possibly to find another solution. We could also go with it and get use to it.
