First and before all, I want to state that I do not want this topic becoming an argument and flamming thread. There are probably hundreds of discussion topics already made on the matter, so try to keep it the fuck out of here.
I'm starting a video project on Marijuana law reform, and I need a little help with content. I'll be giving credit in the video to anyone who provides me with information that appears, and together as a community, in a much larger community, we'll spread this out as far as we can, to reach as many as we can.
Basic facts and statistics are within an easy google search, but I really don't want to use too many cliche numbers to illustrate this cause. What I really need you to help me out with, is what you think people ought to know about this. About marijuana in general, about the reason it was illegal in the first place, about they lies and false propaganda that keep our countries in fear, about it all. What do you think the average uninformed or misinformed citizen of the world needs to hear that can be shown in this video?
I want to make this video 2-3 minutes long or shorter, not throwing so many facts and opinions out, but ideas inspiring people to take it upon themselves to look further into this, and to check out websites and organizations like NORML and blogs so easily overlooked, even in the popular media.
"Don't let apathy police the populace
We will march across
Those stereotypes that were marked for us"
And just so you know, I plan to use "Rise" by Flobots in the background, and claim fair use if there is any trouble. If fair use doesn't cut it, I'll find a band or music group that advocates the legalization, who still own their music, and don't mind the publicity this will create.
