Vandalism on Wikipedia.

Well guys I stepped upon some vandalism. Its pretty funny but its not illegal is it?

Vandalism is in the very last two sentences which is in the paragraph next to the egg sac picture.

Heh no, it's not illegal to falsely edit a wiki article, and it can be easily revised.

I'm aware of that. What I'm saying is that if they tried to take legal measures on you for falsely editing a wiki article (something that has been edited by hundreds of people) and adding five words, Wikipedia is the downfall of the human race as we know it.

Well they changed it back. Like they always do. We should remember that Wikipedia is a fairly valid source of information, but should not be used for broad subjects.

The worst type of vandalism that they have trouble removing typically involves a direct edit to the template or making a massive text to block out the "edit" tab (for those who don't know the other ways to get to the edit window aside from clicking).
