All the music on my external hard drive comes to 112GB, so I'd just put most of that on it.

I said I only have filled about 90 gigs of space, and was wondering how someone would fill a terabyte drive.

You are missing 910 gigs of that 1TB HD.

Between both my external HDDs and the one in my laptop, I have somewhere between 400 and 500 GB of space used.
I have a crapload of music. A shitload of tv series. Too much anime. Pictures. And many other things.

My friend had a 1 terrabyte HDD and we used to joke that half of it was porn, and the rest was viruses and Norton Anti-Virus.

Movies and games will fill that up fairly quickly, as would music in .FLAC format.

Since it's an internal HD (I'm assuming), just fill it up with a bunch of games.

Ah, I'm doing fine with my 80 on each pc, and the slave 20 on one of them.. If I need anything extra I'd just switch out the 20gb slave, but it's a seagate baracuda, fast as hell, and very nice for playing avi movies from..

About 6 months ago I bought 5 external 1TB hard drives, they were on special for like AUST$170, and I have already filled 2 of them up. 1 with music, 1 with movies.

Most people have the same opinion, they fill huge hard drives with movies, tv shows, music and images.
Heh, you could make a safe bet that 90% of 1TB hard drives will contain something illegal on them.

Download lots of games. My computer has 180GB and I still have all the regular stuff, some other programs, Spore, all the Sims 2 Expansion Packs, Sims 3, Age of Empires 3, Rome: Total War, World of Warcraft etc
On that sort of disc space, you don't need to delete one to make room for some more.

I'd probably end up the same way at the rate I download. Ranma 1/2... week download, 35GB... And I've got others to download...

I've seen people proudly announcing they had a terrabyte of hentai on their drives.
Personally I'd never manage to fill it up, I stream stuff, and rarely save anything.

I could fill that pretty easily. I've got several series which come to about 70gb never mind the music and films.

Anybody who has a terrabyte of hentai has severe issues... I can proudly say I have absolutely no hentai on my HDD. Except possibly in my Temporary Internet Files thanks to some of the banner ads on this site.

THere are a lot of people in the world with more than that. I have a friend who has a 3 TB (TeraByte) external hardrive. Anything above that is pretty hard to find. (unless you go to a computer shop)

People buy terabyte hard drives so they never run out of space.

Ebuyer.com and DealExtreme.com are both excellent sites for computer peripherals. Try newegg.com too, I've heard good things about it.
