Geek Squad,
They said that they had never seen this before but my computer basically ate itself.
One of my System32 files had been corrupted which was Journal.exe and while installing SP1 it wouldn't load any files after that and since Journal.exe was a threat it viewed the entire System32 folder as corrupt and delted it and since system32 was part of the Windows folder it than deleted the windows folder and so fourth until every bit of memory was gone and the hard drive was blank and than we got the Blue Screen.
So i decided to go to Geek Squad,
They told me all of the above and so they told me i could either buy a new Hard Drive or risk 500 dollars at a recovery of data from the old hard drive. They said some files escaped the windows suicide so i could restore them and that data totaled up to 29.5 gb so i decided to just go ahead and buy a new HDD well i got a 1.5 terabyte hard drive and i just booted up from a Vista Cd i had bought also.
Flash is gone, every damn file is gone.
I have warranty on this pc but this wasn't covered so i spoke to the manager and he told me since i had a number of expensive programs on their and it was all lost due to Microsoft he would give me a 1,500 store credit.
So off to buying tommorow.
It will take a long time to rebuild, wish me luck.
ps. Microsoft sucks balls!

i must say this is interesting lol
my church youth had a tv that killed itself though in a more destructive way
we were having band practice and the bass was up to high
the TV was on a wall mount but not in a stud [bad idea]
the bass shook the hooks out of the dry wall and smahed its self on a 10 ft drop lol
i now know what happened but at the time it looked like the tv just jumped off the mount
its a conspiracy
technology will destroy its self once the world has become totally dependant on it lol

Ouch, at least you were reimbursed. Probably happened due to a bad hard drive. I had a work computer do that, I reinstalled Windows and it did the exact same thing again. Sometimes a hard drive gets screwed up and system files get erased. If you still have your old drive, try putting it in your computer as a slave drive and see what you can recover.
Also: Holy run-on sentence Batman!!
I dont even.

Well, Microsoft may shit up, but STAY AWAY FROM APPLE.
Their 'quality' hardware is not worth the money.
It's the exact same as Windows, except downgraded in gaming ability.

Hopefully it will work long enough to allow you to get files, just don't use it after that. Also, stay the hell away from Apple. Total ripoff, and they run off hype.
I dont even.

With macs it seems people either really fucking love them or really fucking hate them... I love.

There's a lot of hate on Mac in this thread.
Even though you can partition your Mac to run Windows.
And running Windows on a Mac is faster than 80% of the native computers.

Dual booting. There's a program called Boot Camp for that. You can also run Mac on a Windows pc. Amazing? Yes, it is.

Happy shopping... And that's pretty weird. What can you get with $1500 though, especially if 700 goes to Flash?
If I offer to help you in a post, PM me to get it. I often forget to revisit threads.

Yeah, that's just pointless. It's like a black hole in the system that sucks everything into nothingness.

You can do the same with Windows and Linux and I THINK Mac and Linux, if you want to have a free alternative when your main OS starts acting up, instead of another expensive OS.

Your Windows is just corrupt. You lost your files, deal with it.
Other than that, all you need to do is get a windows disk and reformat.

That's why I use a Mac, the only thing Microsoft is good at is making Xbox's.
Xbox really is good.
