Back when he signed up, they had a different EXP-gaining system. I think you get 1 EXP by visiting a certain page, and there were 5 of these pages. Or some shit like that.

When the exp system was first created, I believe users would gain 1 point for each part of the site they visited, and could get up to a maximum or 9 or 11 points or something like that. Furthermore, users could deposit at any time (once per day), so someone could visit one section of the site, deposit, and only gain 1 exp point.

This is, at least, how I have heard the system used to work. There was also a referral system, but I believe users gained 10 exp per referral, so that wouldn't count towards the odd exp amount.

Apparently (I wasn't around back then) you used to get exp for viewing certain pages on the site. So you got 1 exp for visiting say, the front page.

It ain't no mystery. Back then, EXP had to be deposited MANUALLY.

When you voted, it took you to another page which told you how many votes to go. On the 5th, there's a big text saying "DEPOSIT EXP" or something. I forgot.
