I'm really happy with the way my piece is going, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna finish by the 20th. Anyone else got any irons in the fire? Hope this doesn't die. Seemed like a really good idea for a contest.

You had to be a complete dick and be born with an eye for color and detail, and hog the gift of imagination (yes, believe it or not quantities of intrinsic imagination are limited by nature, just watch telivision.) On top of that you had to be a complete asshole and become a disciplined artist, being learned in a myriad of mediums. Now I was vying for a chance of even placing and you destroyed that dream by being completely fantastic.
Now you can take this as some sly catharsis, satire, or sarcasm, but it truly is not. I hate you for going above and beyond in your endeavours, and raising quality standards, ultimately making this community a little brighter as well.

Really cool comp dawg, great perspective, great reimaginationating, great everything. I underestimated you with your ristar post. I know that the day today fluctuations on creativity can be frustrating for an artist, but hang in there.

really i am too, i expected alot of cheap castle crasher fare, i can't say whether i'm depressed there isn't or not. the tweak helps the whole thing pop alot more now, its perfect.

Besides Castle Crashers / Alien Hominid, I'm keeping an eye out for any Metroid entires - lol that subject could be taken so well for a contest like this - it'd be cool to see what people can come up with.

decided to make a last second entry, here is a WIP

I know it looks terribly undone and I don't think I can perfect it till tomorrow.

But accept it, my entry is quite original, I mean making bad fanart as making characters inaccurate, as if you've only heard a mere description about them.
