Creating life on Mars?

Everyone nowadays knows how the greenhouse effect works.
It's because of the CO2 and H2O that form a sort of protecting blanket over our planet, that we call the atmosphere. And therefore is life possible on Earth.
Now if you look at Mars, all the CO2 and a bit of H2O is frozen, if we manage to somehow nuke the planet and let the ice be frozen we can create an atmosphere.
If all the ice on Mars is melted it covers the whole planet.

Instead of nuking North-Korea, why not nuke Mars?

Because that's not how nukes, space travel, the greenhouse effect, the atmosphere, and thermodynamics work at all.

I made a thread like this "OP" but in my opinion I'd have to wonder who would live on Mars. I mean Mars can't fit all of us.

and yeah, the only way we could make life on mars, is too build giant, pressurized bubbles, and then somehow fill it with oxygen, and then put plants there, to make more oxygen,but then you also need carbon dioxide so you'd have to be mixing the oxygen with it, thats magicaly got there in the first place....

okay, here is what happened. One day, Mars was enjoying a nice little day on its red planet with its own life. Suddenly, BLAM! This giant Solar Wave comes and wipes out the atmosphere of mars. Mars is now Vulnerable to anything. The Sun. Without the atmosphere, the sun is hotter than it is with an atmosphere. like 10 times hotter. and Solar Radiation gets in, so no matter what you do, even if you go under ground, you will get skin cancer from this radiation which will feel like a bad sunburn, and later die.

So over time, with the solar radiation and heat getting in, The planet withered, and died. making it that dry dessert planet. Eventually it regained some sort of atmosphere though, so its a cold dessert ice sphere with 2 polar ice caps and lots of valleys and volcano's.

Life can't be created on mars by "Nuking it". That's so retarded.
