One of the worst is McFly, all they write is cliched garbage and their musicianship is the epitome of crap. I also remember seeing a band called Chicks on Speed as a support at a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert when I was 11, they got booed off the stage.

I knew some asshole would say metallica. I'm listening to them now and they're the best metal band ever. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean it sucks. Its a matter of taste. Also, the new metallica songs aren't bad, just not as good as Ride the Lightning or Master of Puppets. I love the song St. Anger though.

slipknot. they're not underground, if anything they're one of the most mainstream and popular metal bands today and i dont know why. the band needs NINE people just to sound like shit. and the whole band is just one giant power chord .
dragonforce. they're NOT epicly talented, i used to love them until i heard them live. i.e. their most popular song through the fire and the flames. that song is only that fast due to studio. they cant play guitar half that fast.

No way, those guys are pretty talented. One vid of them playing some song on Youtube is called like "Worst guitar solo ever" or some shit but it only sounds kinda weird because they're playing it live and without the background stuff like drums. Technical guitar and whatnot ain't bad.
