You get reviews if you are planning on getting it, since you are currently getting it reviews are useless.

I've heard good things about GIMP. I have used it, and I actually didn't like it myself. Still, I'm not great at photo editing, so that could be part of the problem for me. It is an excellent program if you can get used to it, but as someone else said, you do get what you pay for.
