Is there any program or any type of cable that could allow me to connect my game boy to the 8bit music programs I already have on my computer? I want to be able to play the programs on the game boy insted of the computer.
I currently have a cable that connects the game boy to a computer using a USB port but it is only for charging.

There have been more than a few gameboy sequencer/synthesizer projects, I'm sure you can find them if you look around the webnets.

There are cartridges to buy like LSDJ and Nanoloop but they are extremely expensive. I have downloaded multiple gameboy synthesizers but I can't play them on my game boy.

Because those are PC programs.
Like I said, look into various DIY gameboy sequencers and synths, I know i've seen a few.

It's gonna vary from project to project, some of them are custom-programmed cartridges and stuff.
Do some research, I can't remember any projects off the top of my head but they're out there.

Gameboy, no. At least, there is no way to get anything but audio out of a gameboy and use it on a computer.
Nintendo DS, on the other hand. Go get Korg DS.
