Are you kidding? Do you know how many countries have compulsory military service? Finland, Germany, South Korea, Russian, and that's to name a few. Of course, most of them are only 12 months in duration, and once you leave you don't have to come back every year..

More likely than not he's not going anywhere, my friends that live in Israel and also have military service run desk jobs and its more like a full-time job, but they still come on msn or whatever. So its more of an annoyance but hes not like cutting off from everything the way Jazza did when he went out to get all religious and shit.

hate to burst some of your bubbles, but if he does come back alive he might not be the same person.he might not even come back to NG for all we know.war is a very terrifying thing to see, and if he even kills one person, that can rid him with guilt and such for the rest of his life.PTSD and other side affects may accompany him as well.i am hoping he will come back, but personally just knowing war i think he wont be the same when or if he does...
