Don't need them, if someone gets in a fight with me I'd either try to stop him without harm unless I really need to. Not like I'm strong or anything, though. I'd just rather not hide behind weaponry if someone's being a dick.

I carry a cannon with me everywhere I go. it takes a while to move with it but it's super effective!

Returning to the subject of the thread, yes I do carry around a switchblade (pretty sharp, I use it as an all-round handy cutter, will cut everything from paper to steaks to my desk). I also have at home 4 lengths of chain: 2 lengths of roller chain, one standard and one with diamond-shaped link pins. I could also use the meat tenderizing mallet as a weapon but that would be quite stupid. Other than that I'm planning to get some machetes, those thing are devastating in close combat. Might invest in a gun later on although I think I'll have problems with the psychological exam before - I'm one sick-minded violence-loving bastard - so meh.

weapons are for little girls...my fists is all ill ever need, and if people do bring in a weapon to a fight, then you should know that everything around you is a weapon.

i want to get my girlfriend a tazer. She spends alot of time in mahattan and takes public transportation sometimes at night... i think if your going to carry a weapon it shouldnt be a lethal one.. even if someone tries to kill you i dont believe in taking a life because of it .. but sending a few thousand volts into someone will stop them in their tracks.

pepper spray is a good idea but they have this one spray that once it hit the face it starts to foam and burn and stain the skin a bright color like green or blue so if they get away it will be easy for police to catch them since they have a stained face

as funny as that is, they do make weapons that wont hurt anybody, they have those special lights, that shoot a high intensity light, will make them fall to the ground in pain, but wont really hurt them any

and then theres always mace, and tazers, but tazers aren't always safe

I'm perfectly capable of handling myself in a fight. But I do plan on owning weapons one day. In case the shit hits the fan. You know, post-apocalyptic scenarios.
