And I honestly have to say, why does everyone hate Twilight so much? I read the 4 books, and actually liked them, sue me.

I agree that the twilight books were okay. They had parts when they were good, but then parts that I didn't like. But I think that most of the hate goes to the movie since it was just so horribly done.

I liked the two that I've read so far. I can understand why people don't like them, though.
Seems to me that some people just can't stand vampires that aren't the normal type. So they sparkle. So what? Big effing deal. Get over it and read something else... seriously...

It's ok to like them. They aren't bad books in themselves. In fact, no one hated the series before the movie was made. It was simply the fan's reaction to the creation of the movie that is hated.

I read part of the first one. I found the dialogue horrible, the fact that the characters were feeling 5 different emotions at any given time and how over-dramatic it was to be the main turn-offs. Then there are a lot of plot-holes.

I've read dozens of vampire books, thank you. Twilight is certainly not my favorite, nor is it the best I've read, but I still like it.
