I'm not a ooh-rah person, I've come to terms with that, but I'm not a coward, and I want to help defend this country and the freedoms that come with it. I know that I could handle combat physically If I tried enough, but I don't have the mentality to go out and shoot the bad guys. I guess if I really had do it I could, but I would be much happier calculating where that rocket is going.

I have a tremendous amount of respect for anyone who picks up a rifle and defends freedom, I just don't see myself on the front lines.

The Marines are trained harder, longer, and for far more combat than any other personnel. They're the tip of the spear of the Military. They get there first, wipe everyone out, and then take it back after someone else loses it.

the army offers alot of side benifts to recruits like pensions, elite training, skills that you can use in a life or death situation which you will deal with every day because your in the army, and frind ships so strong with certin comrads which you will never find no matter how hard you look in civilion life.
