Any Way To Commit Suicide In Gtaiv?

Basically, I finished the last 3 missions without saving and then decided to jump off Happiness Island to steal an unmanned boat.

But as I went to jump, I fell down at the end of the pier and got trapped inside a few of its struts. I can't swim out, I can't drown (as far as I know) and I can't use any weapons.

I really don't feel like going back to do those missions again so I was just wondering if there's any way to commit suicide automatically or a way to force yourself to drown.

I'm playing on the PS3 if it makes any difference.

Nope sorry. You'll have to swim ALL THE WAY BACK. That is, unless theres a surface near by and something to blow up.

As helpful your suggestion may have been to a complete moron or to the mentally handicapped , I actually have an IQ above 7 and have therefore attempted everything that would occur to any reasonably minded person.

So, when faced with the problem of getting onto the pier, I actually did try to actually get on the pier.

I basically don't think you're going to be able to help me so I'm going to try to reply to any more of your suggestions in advance.

I've tried jumping (which you can't actually do while swimming), weapons (also no good whilst swimming), drowning, force glitching, good old fashioned button mashing, Googling other sites, reading the manual, and, just in case you think that I didn't really think it through, I have in fact tried swimming out.

Thats weird. Doesn´t the game autosave after every mission? Because it does that when i play, i don´t ever have to save manually.

If you're under part of the pier, you'll have to try and press the Square button. It might let you cling onto the side of the pier. If not, you'll have to load an earlier save and do it all over again.

The game saves at the end of the final mission I think. After the credits are done rolling. You could load up and rectify the problem (maybe).

Lol, I love going online, getting someone in my chopper and then driving far across the waters and then just waiting pretending to be away or something, they eventually jump out and are forced to swim back to land. ;) One time when I did it the guy who jumped out was like "c'mon man, fucking some back already" then he jumped out and he seen me suddenly flying away and he was like "MOTHERFUCKER"

And even if there would, you'd need to use phone to activate it. And you can't use phone while swimming.

enter the cheat for a boat. I don't think it prevents any achievements.
