Html Image Maps

Hello, could som,eone post me the full code for image maps l have searched google and get tutorials but it never works for me for some reason. Also how do you get the cords, is there an easy way to do it?

Image maps aren't really recommended because solid images take longer to load.

I'm pretty sure you can use a program like photoshop to find the coordinates...

That doesn't mean it's the right thing to do, especially for people who have slow computers. Believe it or not, there are also people who are still using dial-up too. You also shouldn't be giving people advice on how to do things because you can't even get your own stuff straightened out.

Dave: Using separate image links means just that. Slice the image up so that you can link to each image rather than having one solid image that may or may not even load.

You have no idea what you're doing, so how can you HELP people? The best thing that you can do to help is to not post any advice about HTML, CSS or design.
