Nothing wrong with pierced ears, but gauging is kind of dumb IMHO. Yours arn't bad, but don't go any larger then that. I see guys and women at punk shows and house parties and whatnot all the time with gauges big enough to put you finger through. There are only two things that could come of this:
1. Get in a fight, and see how fun it is to continue after you've just had a gaping hole ripped in your ear. I know I have yet to see a guy continue after i've done this. It's underhanded, but it's a fight. Don't act stupid, and things like that don't happen. (Acting stupid includes getting ridiculous gauges)
2. You're going to be fifty some day... it's going to look pretty stupid when you have these big hoop ears that your grand kids are wanting to use for a swing. No?

I'm all fine with self expression, but think about what it's going to look like thirty years from now. That's all I have to say, and thanks for your time.

I knew a dude, his ears were gauged like down to his shoulder and he was wearing silver hoops in them. I kinda lol'd at that one.

Reminds me of this one guy, he's a fucking beast, he's like 2 meters tall and 1.5 meters wide, and he has an ear ring.
One night at a party here tensions were building up between locals (including him) and random Moroccans (they're a fucking plague here in Belgium and they come to parties just to fight). So the two groups are facing each other and throwing insults, and he says "You assholes better calm the fuck down or I'll beat you up" etc etc.
At that point on of the Moroccan guys has the bad idea to tear out Beast's ear ring. Beast gets fucking mad and everyone tells him to calm down and that he didn't mean to and shit. He didn't calm down. 30 seconds later the Moroccan who pulled out the ring was bleeding on the ground with no teeth and no eyebrows left.
So yeah. Don't pull out piercings in fights. Or you die.

I don't know why, but it always surprises me when I see a thread like this and realise how attractive we all really are. It's common to think that those who are around here a lot had long ago forgotten the importance of looking presentable, but I'd be happy to hang around with any single one of you any time.
