If you're trying to debate with me, at least bring up some decent points. Don't just blindly defend this country out of patriotism, which is as useful in this country as a metal oven-glove. Save the patriotism for a country with a compitent leader.

This is true. You do raise a good point. Earthquakes are indeed the largest downside of living there. The Japanese are being pretty clever about this though, with regular earthquake drills and most skyscrapers are being made to withstand earthquakes.

I'll stay in America, thanks.
Japan seems like a nice place to visit, but I'd never live there.

I really want to visit other places around the world, Rome, Pompeii, New York, Washington, Paris, Tokyo, Beijing, but I could only ever imagine myself living on a permanent basis in England. Yeh, Northampton can be a bit of a turd hole at times, but everything I need is within a fair walk, or short driving distance, and I know my way round here. The only other place I might consider living would be the USA, and even then I don't know if I could live there my whole life.
Personally, I'd rather live in England than anywhere else.
I'd say something about Japan, but I think that everything that I could think of to say has already been said.

As for me, I would like to live somewhere where peace is present. Maybe Heaven?

Terrorism is everywhere my friend. Tokyo is overly populated and polluted so I'm not sure what deluded world your in. Did you know that the river Thames is the cleanest river in Europe? London has some of the most attractive buildings in the world and that's why it's a popular tourist attraction! It has the finest of Universities and just a bit north you have Oxford! We have historic buildings and places. We have amazing sports stadiums. We invented golf, football, rugby and tennis. And have been through wars!
How can you say you hate England? Look at this beautiful skyline!
Yeah you saw this post!

I'd much rather be living in Japan. They, as a nation, have much more civilised customs. They have huge, vibrant metropolis-like cities, as well as quiet areas of solitude. Plus they have an excellent educational system. I like that.

Yeah I mostly Agree (I am English too)
I used to like America but there is alot of crime
Here it is all quiet (Besides London I do not wanna go there)

I agree... would be good for the anime and that, but if you ask me, learning a whole new language just to live there without trouble and the earthquake rate mess up that a bit.

You realize that in Japan you would live in a REALLY small apartment, and all you can hear is loud japanese gameshows from neighboring homes which are almost 10 inches away from you.
I would live in New Zealand for sure.

Why would you want to live in japan.
England is the best country on Earth
Plus japan has the yasuki Shrine (a shrine to war criminals) plus they edit school textbooks about ww2 so they dont seem to be aggressors and they edit out japanese war crimes.
Japanese r no way more civilised than England, Best country in world, except North Korea they don't count btw North Korea is secretly a utopia thats why the americans hate them and lie about them having nukes.

Dude, every country does that. English textbooks go on and on about the US's bombing of Hiroshima, but they don't mention the Dresden bombings at all, when mostly RAF bombers dropped nearly 4000 tons of high-explosives on the city, killing an estimated 40,000 civilians and destroying 13 square miles of the city with no strategic value whatsoever.
Every country wants to look good in their history.

Dude, if YOU'RE going to try to debate my point, at least use good grammar. If you love England so much, use the language correctly!!!
And anyway, Tokyo may be polluted, but that's only in the industrial areas. And anyway, what did you expect from a city with 8 million inhabitants?! That's over a 7th of England's entire population stuffed into one city!!!
Besides, London isn't exactly clean!
And if you want a skyline, take a look at this:

Japan is underpopulated, because the country isn't full of sexed up people wanting to get it on. They are a bunch of prudy bastards who want to stay pure.

I happen to be very fond of my country, Canada. Not all that fond of alot of the people but I suppose I that the rest of it makes up for it.
If I could live somewhere else it would be back in Montreal, where I was born.

Yeah, a pedophile is someone who wants to fuck kids. They don't love them, they want to fuck them.
Japanophile is a known term, anyway. It means you're a stupid faggot who loves anything coming out of Japan unconditionally. It didn't backfire, you're just stupid.

England. Like I did. America would be easier for getting stuff but I kind of prefer England still.

Nothing tops the British seaside. Fond memories of days out there, even when it's decided to go a bit cloudy on us, that's just part of the culture.

Have you been to the US, out of curiosity?
I don't think I can say where I would rather have been born. If I was raised somewhere else and some way else I would be completely different, and would probably once again want things to be different somehow, and so on. It's trivial and stupid wishing for something else; make the best of what you've got, or change it,

You're such an idiot. The suffix "Phile" means love. It's the opposite suffix to "Phobe", meaning fear. I can't believe you didn't know that, and what's more unbelieveable is how much of a stubborn asshole you are to keep arguing a point that you've already lost, rather that just admitting that you're wrong like any normal person would do!

Thats the thing, England can be crappy but its perfectly ok to live in. Saying to be born elsewhere would likely just end up being a worse place. Even if you can get better living somewhere ok is perfectly...ok.
