I'm About To Leak Batman 3 Details

Alright well my only real source for information is hearsay from people I Know so take this all the plot details with a hefty grain of salt.

Some Back story:

Well my friend is a graphic designer in LA and managed to get himself a bunch of jobs
in Hollywood. After moving from studio to studio he ended up in Syncopy Films to do some concept work.

After a few months of acquiring information him and a few others I know told me I got some info and a very early teaser poster.

Plot:
I'll begin by saying thatNothing is finalized. As of right now the Studio's focus seems to be on the Riddler but there are rumors that Bane might be in it. From what's been said Warner Bros has pushed multiple scripts to Nolan and want the new Batman to sort of resemble the Saw franchise in that The Riddler is a mastermind who lays deadly traps and clues to crimes. In some scripts Riddler is more of a "hacker" type character that manipulates Gotham's computers to carry out crimes (the obvious theme being Batman's heroics are outdated for the new millennium).

The word on the street is Nolan wasn't too pleased with the scripts and that he really hasn't made up too much of his mind as to who the main villian will be, but that the studio is pushing for Riddler. The main bulk of work right now is on Inception so real batman details won't surface until next year.

Based on these actions (and really since Dark Knight's ridiculous Sonar system) Warner Bros seems to want to take a more "new age technology" approach (think Live Free or Die Hard) to Batman so don't be surprised if there will be a lot of pseudo science and hacking jargon.

The Poster:

Here's the main spectacle of this whole ordeal, the teaser poster. Now keep in mind movies often have pretty eccentric schedules and sometimes Studios ask for quick posters regarding possible movie ideas (dubbed by my friend as "concept posters" which often have working titles to match the story) that aren't meant to get out to the public and are mainly used to get a look and feel for the movie.

Now given the possible Riddler story Warner Bros asked Syncopy to give a few of these posters and I was able to get my hands on one by my friend.

Theories, Rumors and Baseless Speculation:
Other then the Riddler some other rumors are going around regarding the movie.

* Bane might be in it and his origin will involve steroids

* In the script(s) with Bane Batman gets extremely injured (node to comic book spine shatter) and has someone take over for a while

* Angelina Jolie as Catwoman

* John Depp/David Tennant will play as Riddler

* Much darker setting with a possible R rating

Just remeber none of this is even close to confirmed but personally it's still nice to dream about batman shattering his spine on the silver screen.

to be honest all I have is my friend's word. But going on from how secretive he made it out to be I'm sure most of it was true.

Well, its possible, and I've liked where the last two films have gone, but I honestly don't want Batman to be Saw. If that's what they are doing I'll just be dissapointed. If Nolan gets his hands on it, then I'm sure it will be more, and not as graphic as saw is and whatnot, but still decent. The batman movies have been very good with the edge he's been floating on, but if he crosses the line and turns it into a gore fest, I'm out.

Studios should stay out of it.

IIRC there were anecdotes about a script where Bruce Wayne gets captured by Riddler Saw style and had to find a way to save himself while at the same time keeping his identity safe.

That just sounds extremely lame. If I wanted to see Saw, I'd go fucking see Saw. If the riddler caught him and wanted to know who he was, that would be easy enough to do.

Well I probably phrased it poorly but I meant more the whole "captured/deadly traps/serial killer game" aspect not necessarily the gore. I don't think any studio wants to turn the blockbuster series into a gore fest.

Well multiple people worked on the poster so the company really can't find the original person.

Leaks are much more prevalent these days and companies are kind of stuck in a powerless position plus since the leak already happened it's kind of a waste to go on a massive witch hunt to find who did it.

I doubt it, I've seen all this before on the internet. Gary Oldman said that the riddler was a possibility, and Johnny Depp and David Tennant both said that they'd be interested in the role of the riddler.
