Well im going to start off with lust. Without lust, what would promote us to reproduce? Its necessity is obvious so we can't rule out lust as an entirely bad thing. Now how is masturbating selfish? You are not wasting "God's gift" or taking advantage of anyone else. It is absurd to punish yourself like this as you will make masturbating even more tempting and addicting in the long run. As for the research you have done, there are not any negative side affects of masturbating, any evidence telling otherwise is illogical.

Though I'm not Christian, I know some beliefs of them. Less strict traditions would let you masturbate as long as you plan on having a baby in the future, because there's no harm done - you're having sex with yourself so somebody else doesn't before marriage. It's recommended.
Traditions like Roman Catholicism would say something stupid, like that it's wasting God's gift of sex and all of the sperms dying. Truth is, you're not going to have one baby for every time you masturbate, so it's not wasting anything, and it's not like your sperm will run out. As far as I've heard, masturbation has a better chance to increase the healthiness of the sperm than decrease it.

But what if the one sperm doesn't take? And are we to say that all of those 599,999,999 children deserved to die? Is not every life sacred according to your fucked up religion? In reality, the time when that was written into the Bible everybody was illiterate and uneducated (by today's standards) and had no idea what a sperm cell even was.

I don't think you are very educated in sex ed either. Sperm despenses outside the testicles when it builds up to much. It releases in your sleep out of your penis. It comes out as "Semen". A perfectly good load is only wasted if it's brand new and jacked off into a sock.

I know what a wet dream is. Why should sperm be wasted in sleep? We should all just reproduce all of the time until the planet is overpopulated. Then we should have another holocaust. Seeing as Hitler was raised catholic, everything he does must be morally correct.

If I ever start believing in God and all of the bull**** that comes with it, imma ask my friends kill me, or at least send me to a mental hospital, cuz nothing ever makes sense in the beliefs of a God (except hinduism where the God has both constructive and destructive sides)

My personal theory that makes ALOT more sense than any of the religious theories i have ever heard is:

Using technology far beyond our understanding, aliens have created a way of giving a woman a virgin birth.
The child grows up to be Jesus, and he talks about how his "father" from the "sky" has sent him down.
The day he "dies" the aliens have simulated the way a human lives and are now ready to bring the body back to the UFO for observation.

I KNOW it sounds unserious, childish and somewhat stupid, but if you give it a thought, you will migth figure out that it makes a BIT sense.

Just whatever you do, if you do try to quit- don't go beating yourself up over failing if you fail. That's unhealthy, and will cause depression more so than anything. You're going against something perfectly natural here, and as such it'll be hard to stop. Especially since there is NO harm involved. But if you do want to stop, I wish you luck in accomplishing that with a bear minimum of stress, I suppose.

God can do anything and everything, beyond what you think possible or existent. Without Satan, we would know no good, nobody would know what is good and what is bad, and soon enough the good things would be mistaken for the bad things. You need evil to know what's good, and to appreciate it.

It says fornication. Fornication = sex before marriage. I'll give you that. But masturbation is not sex in most definitions. It is masturbation, self-pleasure. No different than scratching an itch or hugging yourself when you're feeling down. It's a pleasurable thing, that YOU do yourself. So there isn't sex involved. Maybe if it was mutual masturbation it could be considered sex, but masturbation by itself isn't sex.

I am, too, but you have to take it from a Christian viewpoint. Facts don't change based on people's opinions, so to us people are dying in Africa because they were sold horrible things in order to buy slaves, but to Christians it's so they can appreciate their family and basic supplies, which most people do not. It's either one or the other, not both.

There is not a single man, Atheist or Christian that has gone through puberty without masturbation at least once. It is a natural urge that humans must relieve. Humans by nature have urges to stimulate their sexual organs, if they didn't we would have no desire to have sex and we would therefor die out.

The reason we masturbate is simply because we cannot have sex yet due to age, laws or simply unable to find a partner, and if we do not masturbate we will be forced to release semen in "wet dreams" but still, no man can resist masturbation, they would have to be tied down to do so.

So if anyone ever tells you that masturbation is a dirty shameful thing, tell them to "shut up, I KNOW you did it when you were younger and I will do it too", if it was really a sin then NOBODY would go to heaven. If it causes illness or disease, then we would all be dead.

Be as faithful as you want. Just realise that at some point, the real world will come crashing in. Mainly when you cry at a funeral, despite (apparently) knowing that the person will live forever in Heaven.
