Do your parents say you spend too much time on the comp? my mom says i'm a "potato couch" she's foreign :/ and she told me i have to go with her to a BBQ. I told her no because the last time i went with her somewhere it was filled with adults who secretly said behind my back that the school i was going to wasnt that good, and the only other kid there was a science and math genius who sat in a awkward silence with me because we obviously have nothing to say to eachother. I don't see whats the big deal! i'm happy! at least i'm not out fucking people catching STDS and getting drunk, i have friends it's not like i'm TOTALLY outcasted. Shit i hope one day NG can baby sit my kids from running around wild.

I get told that 18 hours a day, every day without going out is bad for me. I entirely disagree, going out and doing exercise, now that is for slobs!

My mom says stuff like "Where were you? Oh wait, nevermind, you were at that computer you spend to much time on. You need an activity."
I don't spend THAT much time on here, but my mom thinks it's too much.

Yeah, my parents complain, too. I know what you mean; there are kids out there who do much worse things. They should be happy I'm on the computer all day.

Damn straight they do.
They've started kicking me off more frequently so I can clean up, I just move a bag here and there and get right back on.

No, not really.
I don't spend a huge amount of time on the computer, so there's nothing really for them to complain about. I have a social life, I go to the gym (or I try to), and I do other things besides use the computer.
NEED A SIG?. And oh, my love, my love, we both go down together.

Do what I did. Ask your mother straight up if she would prefer you on the computer, or out doing drugs, having sex with random people, and partying. Maybe that will make her realize she should be happy for what she's got now.

My mother is ok with it, she wants me to go out do social things but is ok with me being on here until I am able to. Got nothing else to do atm really.

Grow up and live a life outside of the internet. Your parents aren't mad at you for being on the computer, they feel sorry for you so they are trying to get you to meet new people and go out more.
Bored? Review my audio then.

They don't bother me, because they understand I hate the local community with a passion.

My parents absolutely insist that I'm a loser. Even though I'm probably the 3rd most popular guy in my grade, I go to parties weekly, and I'm pretty good looking.

My mom usually doesn't mind that much but once in a while she tells me to go out and play basketball with my brothers. My dad gets mad at me for being on the computer for so long so he tries to make me do work.

Aren't you supposed to be fucking off the computer for a while, in that thread you made about leaving?

My mom tells me I need to get out of my room more and be social. I hate the outdoors, and I hate most people. To be frank, I don't even intend on getting a tan this summer.

I occasionally get told to go out and do something, like during the summer when my parents tell me to go swimming in our pool. They say if I don't then I get my computer/ipod/cell phone/camera taken away, so I have to go.

My mom thinks this is my life, when I do a lot of the work around the house and have many friends. My brother uses it as an excuse to give me crap.

My parents use to complain about everything when I was younger. I just completely ignored them once I realized they were total idiots, my dad complained I stayed out too much then he started complaining I stayed in too much. It seems like he just wants to be a dick.

They don't complain, mainly because they realize I'm eventually going to be programming for a living, and therefor need excessive computer time.

My mom used to tell me that. But now she's just given up on me.
