I find them funny.
Go choke on a dick if you're not happy.
Or leave, no one likes you.
Or find a better way for NG to keep running for the next 25 years :)
Like getting more girls to join the site... (Luis)

Do you mean screen space? Shouldn't matter unless you have too many toolbars or a really small computer screen. Anyways, the frame which the ads are in is part of the newgrounds background image and can't be removed using adblock, and if it could it would mess up the layout which is the whole reason why Tom created the anti adblock ads. They were a favor and a joke towards those who use adblock.
Either way, Tom has a right to put whatever he wants on Newgrounds. I think he's a very generous guy considering all of the give-aways and prizes and the way he promotes users and their ideas or helps them organize things. Newgrounds is also free to use and is a great website to showcase flash and does it the best. Not to mention Tom has made great leaps and bounds in order to make ads unobtrusive and non-adult. No more Porn ads, no more pop-ups, no more sound ads.
Sheesh, looking at only 2 ads on each page, one at the very top, one at the bottom, which you'll really only see if you're using the navigation bar is a small price to pay in order to do Newgrounds a favor. Sure they only make about $3 a user, but that adds up when you consider how many people use Newgrounds.

I think your opinion didn't deserve a post. And I think people who cry about browsers don't deserve attention.

While I admit that the anti-Adblock ads are hilarious, better designs on the NG shirts will probably generate wayy more money for the site.
Furthermore, who the fuck cares if a lot of people use Adblock? Those of us who do, and plenty of others, dont click on the damned things anyway......

Those Newgrounds banner ads are actually blocked by my ad blocker (and have been from the very beginning). I have never seen these ads outside of forum posts.

I used Ad-Blocker, however when my pc got fucked over by some viruses I've never bothered reinstalling it again, and besides that the newgrounds ads don't bother me that much.

The problem with banner ads is that they can carry viruses. I used to get kicked out of Newgrounds and deviantArt by Google Chrome because one of the ad servers I was connecting to via the banner ads was to a site known to spread trojans and crap. Which is why I even use adBlock to begin with.
Personally, I don't like the replacement images and find them extremely insulting. It's a great way to get me to NEVER buy anything from the NG store. ^^; I realize it's supposed to be tongue-and-cheek, but I think some of the ads go to far, like the "Go fuck yourself and die in a fire" ad. The puppet wife ad makes no sense and is harmless, and I find the "don't be a dick" one kind of funny.
But yeah.. I don't need a website telling me to fuck myself and die. Blockity block.
Furthermore I kind of got tired of being bombarded with porn and "find a sex partner" advertisements. Do not want and all that. :(
This^ this is how I feel about the ads. Sure, they're nothing major, but I've had them flag with viruses and such. Also, the ads containing "FREE HENTAI" and "Find hots girls near you!" do get kind of annoying after a while.
Also, the girls aren't even hot.

actually they r really good, highly rated on cnet, recomended by many of my freinds and genneral well known on the net, especially - there not just anti-virus they are registry cleaners, cache cleaners, anti-spyware hacker and malware, having recently quitting the apps even ZA and AVG, it still blocks the ads so i think it might be something to do with the firewall, which is strange as i say it only seems to block newground ads ...

To be honest, I don't even care about them. Nor notice them most of the time except when they flash around. ._.
Also, when they slow me from listening to music on the AUDIO PORTAL. God damn it, oh well.

Adblock is good, it's not like one person made a difference by blocking the ads.
