It's a nice concept, but when you consider the fact that it's just two monitors slopped together, it's none too impressive when you factor in the 7k price tag. I have 1,500,000 more pixels on my monitor, that I payed $6000 less for.

Newer games have support for wide monitors, they added peripheral vision.
(Extra wide ratio with blurry and stretched sides)

For a science project a while back, I was working on a monitor that used only reflected light off tiny pixel sized mirrors, instead of producing it.
WAAAY better on your eyes, but doesn't really work at night.
